Prepayment customers should continue to top up and payments will be allocated to their meters as usual.<\/p>\n<p>Ofgem\u2019s advice is not to try to switch, but to sit tight and also take a meter reading ready for when Utilita makes contact.<\/p>\n<p>This will help make sure that the process of handing customers over to Utilita, and honouring credit balances, is as hassle free for customers as possible.<\/p>\n<p>Customers can find support and advice on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ofgem.gov.uk\/publications-and-updates\/ofgem-protects-customers-failed-supplier-our-power\">Ofgem website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Alternatively, call Citizens Advice on 03454 04 05 06<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ofgem, the energy regulator, has appointed Utilita as the supplier of last resort for Our Power Energy customers.
