Working in partnership with Caerphilly Council and contractor M&J Cosgrove Construction Ltd, United Welsh developed land at Heol Bro Wen, located off Pontygwindy Road, to build new homes for people in need of affordable housing in the Caerphilly borough.<\/p>\n
The 11 new homes at the Caerphilly Glade development include 8 one-bedroom apartments and 3 two-bedroom houses, providing options for people to downsize; move to a larger family home or start their first tenancy in a home of their own.<\/p>\n
Local member for the Morgan Jones Ward, Cllr James Pritchard, paid a visit to the new build homes at Caerphilly Glade to see the finished result.<\/strong><\/p>\n Cllr Pritchard said:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve supported this development of high-quality affordable housing since the plans were first shared with local councillors. Having visited the site, I was impressed by the new builds, which offer spacious rooms and a comfortable living environment.<\/p>\n \u201cMore affordable housing needs to be built in Caerphilly. Not everybody can afford market-priced housing. I would like to thank United Welsh for working closely with me throughout the construction phase.\u201d<\/p>\n Lynn Morgan, Director of Development for United Welsh said:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cWe are delighted to bring these new affordable homes to the heart of Caerphilly.
