Covid-19
COVID-19 is a new illness that can affect your lungs and airways. It’s caused by a virus called coronavirus.
We’d like to reassure you that we are taking extra measures to ensure your health and safety.
As a responsible business we are following Government advice on the virus and this means there will have to be changes to the way we do things as we are all being told to take extra care when we are socially interacting with each other.
As of today (Friday, March 13th) we are advising our people to try to limit the amount of face-to-face contact they have with our customers so we can protect everyone’s health and help to stop the spread of this virus.
This means that we will be most likely to contact you via phone, but we are equipped to hold these calls via Facetime or Skype if you would like to see the person while you are having your conversation. If it is easier for us to speak to you via social media either on Facebook or Twitter, please use the private inboxes for these channels to contact us.
Of course, there will always be occasions when we do need to meet with you face-to-face and we will still go ahead with those meetings provided it is safe to do so and we will ring you first to check your particular situation.
As a result, it is very important that our contact details for you are up to date so please let us know if you have changed your phone number or any of your contact details as a matter of urgency.
If you contact United Welsh about any matter from now on you will also be asked some questions about the symptoms of coronavirus which are a dry cough, fever and difficulty breathing and any recent travel. This is important so we can limit the risk to our colleagues and customers of coming into contact with someone who may have the virus.
Our Celtic Horizons service is continuing as normal, but the operatives will be taking additional hygiene measures and continually monitoring the situation as regards our resource capacity.
