Update from Torfaen Council about volunteering in an emergency:
“In light of Covid-19, residents who are looking to volunteer to offer aid to Torfaen’s most vulnerable residents are being advised to register interest with the British Red Cross.
“The British Red Cross are working closely with the NHS and other key organisations to plan for how they can best help communities and therefore are best placed to manage emergency volunteering opportunities on the ground during these unprecedented times.
