Happy 10th Anniversary Plas Hyfryd!

10 years ago, we welcomed tenants through the doors of their new homes in Plas Hyfyrd, Caerphilly, an Extra Care scheme comprising of 49 apartments for older people.

We also had the pleasure of HRH The Princess Royal, Princess Anne officially opening the scheme, where she said that we should be “very proud of what you have achieved with the development.”

Fast-forward to 2020, and we couldn’t let coronavirus get in the way of us marking Plas Hyfryd’s 10^th anniversary!

While we would have loved a big party, we celebrated instead with party bags and celebration cakes for all the tenants, with six of the ‘original’ tenants who moved to Plas Hyfryd in 2010 receiving flowers as a special gift.

Thank you to Vision 21, Pobl and Celtic Horizons for helping our Living Well team to make Plas Hyfryd a great place to live.

Here is to another 10 years!
