What is Intermediate Rent?

The monthly rent for a home available for intermediate rent is typically 80% of what you would pay for a rental home on the open market.

Service charges may often be included in the rent. This is the cost to maintain the shared spaces on a housing development, such as green space.

The rental costs for these homes are regulated by Welsh Government and so will stay more affordable than rental homes on the open market.

They can be a great option if you are saving up for a mortgage deposit.

Please note that applicants for an Intermediate Rent home will need to complete a credit check and an affordability assessment.
