Service charges update - 8th June 2020

We hope you are keeping safe and are enjoying time outdoors with the company of friends and family from another household in line with Welsh Government guidance.

This update is about services that are charged for in addition to rent paid for your tenancy, such as grounds maintenance, cleaning of internal communal areas and window cleaning.

During the coronavirus pandemic, the health and safety of our tenants, communities and the people working forĀ us has remained our top priority. In keeping with Welsh Government and Public Health advice, we reduced some of our services or adapted them to keep people safe and well and to prevent the further spread of Covid-19.

As lockdown measures are starting to ease, we are reviewing how we can resume all the services that Celtic Horizons delivered before the coronavirus outbreak in a safe way; carrying out Covid-19 risk assessments, following hygiene procedures and taking reasonable steps to maintain a 2m distance.

This may take some time and we appreciate your continued patience as we transition services safely.

We understand that due to the pandemic, you may not have received all the services that are paid for through service charges in the past few months, but please be reassured that this will be considered in our annual service charge review in October. Any adjustments will be accounted for and offset against charges for the following year period, so that what is billed is fair and reasonable for all tenants and leaseholders.
