Selling your home

Looking to sell your home? The process will vary depending on what scheme you bought your home under.

Please note, you must always inform United Welsh in writing that you wish to sell your home.

What scheme does your home fall under?

Not sure what scheme applies to you? Here is a breakdown:

  • If you have a Shared Ownership home, you pay rent.
  • If you have a Shared Equity home, you don’t pay rent.
  • If you have a home that you bought via an estate agent with the help of United Welsh between 2001 and 2008, you have a DIY Homebuy home.
  • If you have a home in RCT that you bought with the help of United Welsh, you have an RCT Homestep Plus home.

A woman with a green jumper and glasses says: "I bought a home off the open market via an estate agent with the help of United Welsh." A woman with a pink necklace and green jumper says: "I have a Shared Equity home and I don’t pay rent." A man with a yellow turban says: "I have a Shared Ownership home and I pay rent." A woman with a pink bag and grey jumper says: " have an RCT Homestep Plus home. I bought my home in RCT with the help of United Welsh."
